Richard A.D. (Facebook.com/RichardAD): Ring Leader & your host for the evening.

A highly active member in the DC Scene as well as the brains & brawn behind The Metro Underground, the full spectrum of the alternative & adult subculture has been in my blood since I can remember. This taken with a full-time career in marketing & promotions (as well as a substantial background in event planning), I not only gave birth to efforts within The Metro, but soon took the reigns to host one of DC's premier events for the alternative cultures:  The DC Fetish Ball.

But make no mistake, a production this large takes more than one man to pull it off. I'm both humbled & thankful for an incredible team to help behind the scenes. Besides those running the social play space (see Entertainment), there are a few individuals that require special recognition.

Kaelynn (Associate Director): With a background in modeling & events, Kaelynn is an invaluable member to our effort. He is assisting with both the fashion show & several stylistic elements to help bring the production to life. But even more, everyone wants to be a part of the big event yet we host several parties throughout the year. For these, Kaelynn is one of only a very few that are by side for each & every endeavor I undertake. I couldn't do what I do without him, & I am eternally grateful to have him in my life.

Tyler & Rhus (Fashion Show Coordinators):  With a depth of experience in modeling & fashion, Tyler & Rhus make the perfect team to pull final elements of this year's fashion show together. Indeed, as huge personalities in the scene, they not only offer the necessary contacts to pull things together, but the insight to keep us on solid ground. I'm honored to call them true friends.

The DC Fetish Ball: Now in our fourth year, we continue to raise the bar for the decadence, desire, & sheer elegance of the underground scene. We wanted something more for DC - an event so hot that it would not only stand as a local icon but would be worthy of national recognition. It is for this that we bring you the DC Fetish Ball. The date is set, so mark October 9th as a night you won't want to miss!

The Metro Underground (www.TheMetroUnderground.com): Your gateway to the entire spectrum of the alternative, adult, & underground scene for DC, Baltimore, & the Mid-Atlantic Region. Its concept is unique, but its mission is simple: to provide a synergistic means to lift the fog for what's going on in & around the area, assist the promotion of the scene as a whole, & ultimately to provide a forum through which that bridges can be built - from one culture to another, & from one group to the next.

Formally known as 'Home' & 'The Vault' - Ultra Bar features 5 lavish bars on 4 floors with a friendly & capable staff as well as state of the art sound, lighting, & lavish amenities. You'll see why it's long been considered one of the best clubs in the DC area. During the ball, we'll also offer VIP Table Service, coat check, a fully equipped dungeon, & private play space.
